The saying goes; "Ignorance is Bliss". i think this rings truth, but with a Slightly Different kind of Ignorance:
ig·nore: [ig-nawr, -nohr] verb.
- to refrain from noticing or recognizing: to ignore insulting remarks.
- Law . (of a grand jury) to reject (a bill of indictment), as on the grounds of insufficient evidence.
-ance: suffix attached to verbs to form abstract nouns of process or fact (convergence from converge), or of state or quality (absence from absent)
My New Proposed Use for the word would be to describe 'the Conscious Act of Ignoring'. (should it be ignoreance?)
"What does not kill me, makes me stronger".
